A team from the Public Authority for the Environment conducted a periodic visit to a number of health facilities in the Capital Governorate to ensure the application of environmental requirements for the disposal of medical waste according to environmental mechanisms and controls.

The campaign resulted in a number of violations in accordance with Article No. 18 of the Environmental Protection Law.
